Thoughtful, DIY Valentine's Day gifts that won't break the bank

Have you gotten your special someone a gift for Valentine's Day yet? If not, then here are some adorable, easy and meaningful gifts that you can make!

  1. Box of Love: To make a “Box of Love” you only need a box, and items that your significant other loves. Maybe their favorite candies and snacks. Perfumes or cologne, soaps, bath bombs, or lotions. Fluffy socks, comfy pj’s, anything that your partner would love, you can put in the box. Maybe even a hoodie that you wear all the time with some of your cologne/perfume on it. *Wink* *Wink*

  2. Picture Book: This is super thoughtful and will definitely melt your significant other's heart. For this, take an empty journal or notebook (you can even use a photo album), and pictures of you and your partner. Write some cute little notes about the pictures, add some quotes, and make it special.

  3. Written Letter: Write a love letter to your valentine. Tell them why you love them or how you feel about them. Remind them of some amazing dates you’ve gone on. Tell them your favorite memory of them.

  4. Jar of Kisses: This is super corny but still thoughtful. Simply take a mason jar and put Hershey Kisses in it!

  5. “Open When…” Letters: This one is a little more time consuming, but still definitely worth it. Make a list of events or times that you want to write a letter for (i.e. When you receive the letters, When you miss me, etc.). After you have a list of times and occasions, write a letter to go with it. These can be deep and meaningful, uplifting, or just really sweet.

  6. Jar of Love: Take a mason jar, sticky notes, and pens. On the sticky notes, write reasons you love your significant other, write song lyrics or quotes to make them happy, write poems, write anything you want and fill the jar up.

  7. Customized Picture Frame: This is super adorable. Take a blank picture frame, and stick cute little stickers, quotes, pictures, etc. on it.

  8. Cute Coupons: Take blank flash cards and create little coupons out of them. Write things like: “Free Hug”, “Free Kiss”, etc.

  9. Valentines Day Red Velvet Brownies: If baking is your style, then here is a great recipe to make and give your valentine.
