A weekly briefing to be thankful for

A weekly briefing to be thankful for

Thanksgiving break starts tomorrow, but we all know none of us are taking a real rest. With papers and upcoming exams looming over our heads, most students will certainly be treating this long weekend as a working vacation.

This week, News Editor Noelle Kriegel covered the Connections Awards, while Arts and Entertainment Editor Emma Watts previewed Holiday Fest and covered the “Kickstands for Kids” event.

Lifestyle Editor Brianna Richbourg wrote articles about productivity over the break and topics to avoid during Thanksgiving dinner, along with characterizing the astrological signs as traditional Thanksgiving foods. She also wrote a column for the opinions section about the lack of practice rooms for music students in the Etherredge Center.

Sports Editor Michael Kuras put together galleries for the USCA cheerleaders, dance team, and the men’s and women’s basketball games. He also wrote articles about last week’s men’s and women’s basketball games.

Finally, I wrote a column that outlines the differences between articles written for the sections in the newspaper.

That’s it for this issue, Pacers. Have a great Thanksgiving break!
