How to be productive over break

How to be productive over break

I am very thankful for this break for a couple of reasons: my mama is going to bust off some fabulous green bean casserole, we won’t have class and maybe, just maybe, I’ll start on these 10-page papers I owe. But don’t be like me, here are some ways to actually be productive over the break.

  1. Work on things in small increments: if you try to do all your work in one sitting, you’ll end up putting it off and not doing it.

  2. Make a list of everything you want to get accomplished: with a clear goal in mind, it will be easier to get things done efficiently.

  3. Set aside three hours each day to work on stuff: dedicated time to just work will help you feel like you got what you wanted to be done with ample time to get in that eight-hour nap.

  4. Turning off your phone while you work can really help you stay focused and get off of TikTok.

  5. Get the thing you don’t want to do the most done first. With that out of the way, you can then easily get through other tasks.

  6. Prioritize: decide what is most important and then plan what assignment to do when.

  7. Focus only on one item at a time, don’t get too jumbled into things.
