Oswald Writers Series: Karen Russell

On Mar. 19, 2024, USCA’s English Department will be hosting their annual Oswald Writers Series.

This event will take place in the Etherredge Center at 7:30pm.

Not only will this event be a wonderful way for students to learn about a successful author, but it will also be an ICE credit.

During this event, Russell will be reading pieces of her work! The event will also include a Q&A so bring lots of questions!

After the event, students have the opportunity to have their books signed!

Karen Russell is a famous author as well as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She has also won the National Magazine Award for fiction in 2012 and 2018. She has published works include “Orange World,” “Vampires in the Lemon Grove,” Swamplandia!” and “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves".”
