Dorm Dash - Bacon Ranch Mac and Cheese

Dorm Dash - Bacon Ranch Mac and Cheese

Sometimes you wish for that Friday mac and cheese from the SAC, but it is just not Friday. That creamy, filling, extra cheesy, and perfectly delicious pasta is one of the best, so here is a fun way to make some Pacer Times special mac and cheese

Ingredients:

·       One box of pasta (your choice, I recommend Penne)

·       Mozzarella (1 cup)

·       Mixed Cheese (Think like the Mexican blend, or could be just one kind that you like) (1 cup)

·       Milk or Evaporated Milk (1 cup)

·       Ranch (1 cup)

·       Bacon (Bacon Bits also work, or go for a vegetarian alternative of vegetarian fake bacon bits)

·       1/2 stick of melted butter

Directions:

·       Heat your pasta up near boiling or boiling water in a large pot to bring it to a good soft noodle.

·       Melt the half stick of butter in a pan.

·       Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

·       Crumble the bacon or tear it apart into smaller pieces (if you cooked bacon)

·       After your noodle is at a good point, pour it into a bowl. Mix with the cup of mozzarella, half a cup of mixed cheese, a cup of milk, a cup of the ranch, and the melted butter, and add in some bacon (or alternative)

·       Pour mix into a baking dish and top with the other half of the mixed cheese and some extra bacon if you desire

·       Put the baking dish in the oven once heated up and let cook for 40 minutes.

·       Once cooked, let cool for a minute and then you are ready to cut apart and serve!

·       One suggestion is to add a little extra ranch to the result to each serving to give an extra creamy texture to the pasta.
