Restaurant Review: Noodles on 11

Restaurant Review: Noodles on 11

Washington D.C has endless options for cuisine, which can be honestly overwhelming when trying to decide where to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Noodles on 11 is an amazing option for traditional pho, Thai curry, spring rolls and dumplings. The restaurant is located at 1100 New York Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20005.

Upon entering, the building is small but full of tables and bar seating. The decor is pretty and creates a nice ambiance. Noodles is very casual, fast and affordable. The price range for appetizers is $5-9 and entrees range from $10-17. Noodles has lunch portions that are slightly smaller than dinner and also lower in price.

The Goi Cuon are fresh spring rolls with shrimp, vegetables and rice noodles. These are served with a sweet and creamy peanut sauce. These are a delicious and refreshing choice to start the meal with.

The gyoza are fried pork dumplings that are served with a sweet soy sauce. The gyoza was very flavorful and crispy.

The pho is made up of broth, rice noodles and your choice of meat. On a separate plate there are bean sprouts, fresh Thai basil, jalapenos and limes available to add in at your own discretion.

The combo pho is a great choice to try everything because it combines the flank steak, meatballs and brisket. The pho is a delicious choice that is full of sweet and savory flavors, tender noodles, fresh vegetables and flavorful meat. This dish is also wonderful for the colder months because the broth is warming.

The service was wonderful and attentive as well, even though there was only one server for the restaurant. The food came out fast and fresh.

Overall, I highly recommend checking out Noodles on 11 next time you are in Washington D.C.
