To study or not to study: The best study spots on campus

Now that we are finally past the add/drop date for classes, things will start to (as my mama would say) “get into the weeds of things”.

Usually, when people decide that they are going to study, it can be hard to find a spot that is quiet, has good WiFi and away from distractions. Here are my top study spots around campus:

Library: I know this one seems obvious, but the library’s second floor is set up specifically to be quiet and gives students desk space to work. This is also a great place to get resources.

Etherredge Center second floor: Though the Etherredge center is for music, art and theatre students, the second floor is not often used and has tables and windowsills that people can use to sit and study.

The Quad: Though this may seem like a weird place to study, you can get a hammock from the student life office in the SAC, set up in between two trees, and study away! It’s also great for just getting some fresh air.
