When this whole pandemic started, I thought we would only be gone a week or two and then things would be back to normal.

Fast forward what, seven months now? I have been locked in my house, working full time at my family's restaurant, trying to make ends meet for myself. I would not call this summer a break at all.

COVID-19 has thrown everyone for a loop. I could not work for 3 months because we had shut down (business was super inconsistent and my MeMe, my 70-year-old grandma and owner, is immunocompromised).

So, during that time I was honestly just worried about school, my family, and how I was going to pay my bills. Thankfully, we are back open and business has been nothing but busy. I pray for anyone else who was unable to work during this time. It is hard, and nothing is predictable.

In general, COVID-19 sucks. Please, wash your hands, wear a mask, and be kind to people. We have enough problems.
