USC Aiken introduces new chapter, inducts students

A new chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta was installed at USC Aiken, making this their 385th chapter. Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society, recognizes outstanding academic achievement among first-year students. On Wednesday, November 4th, it recognized 41 students.

According to the Alpha Lambda Delta website, “Alpha Lambda Delta has continued to celebrate academic excellence among first-year students and has grown to over 280 chapters and  initiated over one million students.” 

The chapter was installed by associate professor of communication Jason Munsell, and assistant director of student life, Christian Medders.  

Students in the chapter are now eligible for scholarships and access to career resources and leadership programs.
