Column: Perks about wearing face masks

Column: Perks about wearing face masks

It has been almost nine months since the COVID-19 pandemic started here in the United States, and only slightly less time since wearing a mask became mandatory.

While we all may feel annoyed and upset about having to wear the masks, there are a few different perks that I have realized while wearing mine.

  1. Any acne around the lower half of the face is covered, so no one knows about it

  2. Only having to do makeup on half of the face

  3. Keeps nose warm when it’s cold outside

  4. Can pretend to smile

  5. It’s fun to coordinate masks to outfits

Perspective is key! Stay positive about masks, stay negative from COVID.
