USC Aiken Holds Annual SEED STEM Festival

USC Aiken Holds Annual SEED STEM Festival

On Saturday, Sept. 23 the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center hosted the 38th Science Education Enrichment Day (S.E.E.D) Festival. This is an opportunity for children and their families to engage in STEM-related active learning for a day.

There were 50 STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) stations throughout the campus that provided different options for child-friendly learning. These stations included interactive activities ranging from sheep brain dissections with the Neuroscience Club to a plant stand sponsored by the university’s Horticulture Club.
