How to make Erin's favorite dessert pizzas: Strawberry & Cookie

If you have a sweet tooth and love creative cooking, you can thank Dairy Queen’s Treatzza Pizza for introducing us to pizza in the form of dessert. You are only one Google search away from all kinds of recipes for dessert pizza, from chocolate chips to s’mores, tropical fruit and even ice cream pizzas. In honor of this amazing edible creation, I want to offer two great dessert pizza recipes: Strawberry Pizza and Cookie Pizza.

Both of these recipes require either sugar cookie dough or chocolate chip cookie dough and a pizza pan. For both recipes, press cookie dough into a greased pizza pan until it’s a thin crust. Then, bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes (or until golden brown) and let cool. After the crust has cooled, toppings can be added!

Strawberry Pizza uses sugar cookie dough.

Other ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • 1 cup cool whip

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Fresh sliced strawberries

After baking the dough and letting it cool, mix cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar. Spread this mixture on top of the cooled crust, then top with strawberries and refrigerate.

Cookie Pizza uses chocolate chip cookie dough.

Other ingredients:

  • Chocolate chips

  • Sauce topping of choice (caramel, chocolate, hot fudge, marshmallow cream)

  • Candy topping of choice

After baking the crust, immediately top with chocolate chips so that they will melt on top. As they melt, spread them on top of the crust. Drizzle your sauce topping over the pizza, then add your favorite candy toppings! This one is better served warm.
