Depression Screening Day

Depression Screening Day

The Counseling Center will offer free depression screenings for students and faculty on Oct. 18 from 11 AM-1 PM in the SAC lobby.

While it’s unknown exactly how the depression screening will take place, a common form is through a questionnaire.

In the questionnaire, a patient is either given the test by the screener, or it is meant to be self-administered. In these questions, usually, the patient will be asked how they feel about certain scenarios, how they deal with life troubles and things of that nature.

This is a great opportunity for students because many aren’t aware of the list of benefits from The Counseling Center or just don’t want to go out of their way to get the help that they may need.
