COVID 19 News Update in Aiken

Department of Health and Environmental control data reported more than 600 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 new virus-related deaths across South Carolina. None occurred in Aiken county.

In South Carolina the number of cases increased to more than 400,000 cases confirmed and more than 8,000 deaths.

As of Wednesday, March 31, South Carolinians aged 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Aiken Regional Medical Centers will hold a vaccination Clinics at USC Aiken on Wednesday, March 31. Appointments must be made through Center of Disease Control and Prevention’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS)
