Intramural sports for a pandemic season

Many popular intramural activities for fall are not available this year because safety guidelines cannot be followed due to COVID-19.

While sports like flag football are canceled, alternate activities that allow for masks or social distancing are available. Kan jam, disc golf, e-sports, tennis and soccer registrations were made available through the IMLeagues website.

There is still time to register for the Home-run Derby, 3 Point Shoot-out, HORSE, Pickle Ball, Pool, Table Tennis and E-sports tournaments online through the IMLeagues website or mobile app.

Jordan Sery anticipates additional sports like softball and kickball being added where students can spread out.

Sery said “We’ve got a lot of basketball players and soccer players.” He believes the upcoming 3-Point Shootout and the Soccer Shootout will be very popular.
