Dorm Dash: Honey Glazed Ham

Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and if you don’t like turkey, you should definitely try this honey glazed ham! It’s sweet, savory and perfect for the holidays!

What you’ll need:

  • 5 lb ready to eat ham

  • 1/4 cup whole cloves

  • 1/4 cup dark corn syrup

  • 2 cups honey

  • 2/3 cup butter

What to do:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Score/slice the ham

  • Stud the ham with the cloves

  • Place ham in foil lined pan

  • Stir corn syrup, honey, and butter until combined and melted together, creating a glaze. Keep glaze warm while cooking ham!

  • Brush glaze over ham and cook for 1 hour

  • Baste ham every 10-15 minutes with glaze

  • At the last 5 minutes of baking, turn oven setting to broil to caramelize the outside

  • Take out of oven and let sit for 10 minutes to cool

  • Serve and enjoy!
