Dorm Dash: Pumpkin Bread recipe

Many great things come out during the fall. Cute sweaters, pumpkin spice flavored everything, cooler weather, and tasty baked goods. One great fall staple is pumpkin bread!

What you’ll need:

1 ½ cup flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup pumpkin purée

½ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup water

2 eggs, beaten

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon allspice

½ cup chopped nuts (*I recommend pecans*)

What to do:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

-Sift flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda into a bowl

-Mix the pumpkin purée, vegetable oil, water, eggs, and spices into a separate bowl

-Combine the dry and wet ingredients together *Don‘t mix too much*

-Pour bread batter into a well-greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan

-Sprinkle nuts on top of bread dough

-Bake 50-60 minutes

-Let cool, cut and enjoy
