Seen any Crows?

A creative way to win friends and influence people.

Sela Groomes, a freshman fine arts major, searches for crows and hopes to soon reap the benefit of human and bird networking.

In order to make friends with the birds, she tries to feed them consistently every day. After she and the crows become friends, she hopes they will bring her good things both small and large.

Crows have a reputation for finding and collecting shiny objects like jewelry and bottle caps. Groomes hopes these intelligent large black birds will bring her shiny gifts.

Once she has crow friends, she anticipates other people will take notice and want to be her friend so they can be friends with crows as well.

“Anybody who wants to be friends with crows is somebody I want to hang out with,” said Groomes.

In addition to providing a gateway friend for other crow fanciers she hopes the crows will pose for her drawings too.
