The USC Aiken Communication Department hopes to entice undecided students with new classes.
The Office of Student Life Diversity Initiatives and the Latin Heritage Month Committee are hosting an ICE event called “Party with Cardi” on September 26th in the Sac Mezz from 4-5 p.m.
On Saturday October 6th, SGA is hosting a "Border Bash" tailgate to kick off the annual Battle for the Paddle competition with Augusta University.
The only system affected by this will be the on-campus internet service, which will be unavailable for the duration of the event, which will be complete by 6:30 a.m.
The Student Government Association (SGA) allows USC Aiken students who are elected by their peers to hear, interpret and support the needs of the student body.
Classes will resume Wednesday September 12 as the governor has rescinded his message.
The ICE event featured groups such as the Boys & Girls Club and ACTS. Each group presented for about three minutes, allowing students to hear all the volunteer options.

Student body president, Brandon Eberl and student body secretary, Q’Ladrin Quorters reported that SGA would like to increase school spirit.

The USC Aiken Shotgun Team has been around since February 16, 2016. Founder Alex Richardson has worked diligently to grow the organization. The USCA Shotgun Team and partner organizations take pride in promoting firearm safety.
