Meet Our Staff: Abby Williams

To start off the series of Pacer Times interviews, we have Abby Williams.

She is a reporter here for Pacer Times and is willing to share her role and hopes for this year in Pacer Times.

Abby is a Sophomore English major here and is currently a reporter for Pacer Times. She shares her hopes to one day be an editor one day and shares her favorite types of styles of articles to write, which fits her personality if you know her.

“Arts and Entertainment as well as the Lifestyle section are the ones I tend to write for.  I love doing video game reviews, restaurant reviews, date night ideas, etc. because I can better relate and understand them a lot more.”

When it comes to Abby’s favorite article, she shares that her favorite that she has written is It Takes Two article she wrote recently.

“I really love playing that game, so it was amazing being able to share that experience. I also think there was just so much within that game to talk about, so it made for a fun writing experience.”

Abby shares that she joined Pacer Times for a few reasons.

“I joined Pacer Times because I love writing and have had an interest in journalism. I wanted to dip my toes in and see if it would be something I would enjoy. So far, the experience has been even better than I expected! I now have a way to express my love of writing as well as a team of new friends to share ideas with.”

Abby brings a lot to the table as a reporter for those of us in Pacer Times. She shares that she has a strong acclimation to Art as well and it shows in her writing with her analyses.

In her role, Abby helps a great deal with writing for all kinds of articles, and she brings her skills and talents as an english major to each of her articles.
