"Core 4" Alumni to be nominated and selected by university as distinguished members

USC Aiken is launching its Core 4 Alumni Awards, which are expected to be presented Feb. 22.

The Core 4 Awards are for USC Aiken graduates with an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree, but students who have completed a substantial amount of coursework but did not graduate may also be eligible for the award.

The Core 4 selects “distinguished alumni who embrace the university's values —character, citizenship, curiosity and collegiality,” nominated by USCA community members, according to the Core 4 page on USCA’s website.

To nominate alumni, individuals must fill out the nomination form when it becomes available, and each year from Oct. 1-Jan. 1, the Alumni Executive Board will collect nominations using the Core 4 Nomination Form.

Self-nominations will not be accepted.
