Dr. Kuck’s student, Gabe Mulkey, posted a message in the USCA Student Life Facebook page regarding his passing, “RIP to one of the best professors I ever had. Anyone who ever had Dr. Kuck knew his class was not easy; but he was one of kindest, funniest people you would ever meet and he gave every student the same opportunity. A true loss for USCA. Prayers for his family.”

Emma Bowers wrote another heartfelt message toward the late professor, “This is such heartbreaking news. Can’t stop thinking about you, Dr. Kuck. Everyone’s going to miss you so much (no matter how hard your classes were).”

Professors also expressed their sentiments toward Dr. Kuck.

Craig Stanghor, Spanish professor, commented under the obituary on the Student Life page.

“He was my good friend. I will always treasure the moments at his house, drinking endless glasses of wine, in the company of his beloved dog, whom he lost, and adored, about 3-years ago. I WILL see you on the "other side," Amigo!”

Dr. Kuck is survived by his parents, grandchildren, friends and USC Aiken community.
