Monday, Oct. 5, is the last day to register by mail with that date post marked on the stamped envelope containing the registration form, and Students Demand Actions members want everyone to know that.

The form which must be downloaded, completed, signed and mailed is found here: https://www.scvotes.gov/files/VR%20Blank%20Form.pdf .

It must be printed, filled out correctly, signed and mailed in time to be post marked Oct. 5 to count.

Sunday, Oct. 4, was the last day to register online and these women were trying to make it happen last week.

The Students Demand Action organization include Emma Poteat, Jumanah Al-Soudi and Blake Gunnels.

The three pictured are all high school juniors at Aiken Scholars Academy, the high school housed in the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center.

They are dual enrolled in classes at USC Aiken and have been lying-in-wait for unregistered voters recently at 11:00 a.m. daily in the Student Activity Center.

They also prowled around campus buildings looking for available unregistered voters to register. They want all students registered to vote and voting.
